7-DFBX is a diet pill that is marketed in quite the extreme way, with claims on the website stating that you can lose anywhere from seven to twenty one pounds within a period of only seven days. Could it be possible that this drug could work with such efficacy? Based on the ingredients, things look doubtful, since there isn’t really anything new among them that would differentiate this diet supplement from any of dozens upon dozens of similar products lining the store shelves and being sold on websites across the internet.
Have a look for yourself at the ingredient list disclosed for 7-DFBX: Caffeine Anhydrous (this is regular caffeine with a fancy name), Potassium Gluconate (which is a healthy ingredient, but not one proven to contribute to weight loss), Chromium Polynicotinate (which is controversial as some studies show that it does contribute to weight loss and others show that it does not), Psyllium husk (a form of fiber), oat bran fiber, barley rice fiber, apple pectin (a type of fruit sugar), fennel seed (doesn’t contribute to weight loss, but it can calm the stomach, which may be important considering all of the fiber and stimulants in this product), Glucomannan (267mg, a form of dietary fiber which can, at 2-4g per day, help to make you feel full), flax seed powder, dandelion root (a diuretic), uva ursi (that can help with headaches, possibly a good feature considering the stimulants in this product, but does not contribute to weight loss), cranberry, buchu leaves (a diuretic), alfalfa, juniper berries (a diuretic), garlic, ginger root, parsley (a diuretic), mint leaf (a diuretic), red raspberry leaf, lemon peel, red clover leaf, hawthorn berries, burdock root, Irish moss, aloe vera, cayenne pepper, sage, noni, mangosteen, apple cider vinegar, and grapefruit seed.
Diuretics are an important part of the formula of 7-DFBX. Though they do help you to flush the fluids from your body tissues, this only means that you will appear to lose weight, only to gain it back again after you rehydrate your body. A better way to flush your body and maintain lower water retention is simply to drink an adequate amount of water on a daily basis so that the body doesn’t feel that it needs to retain water to remain hydrated. Water retention is a reaction to dehydration.
7-DFBX contains very few ingredients that will help you to lose weight. It does contain some sources of fiber that may help to reduce your appetite and curb hunger. The caffeine will provide a boost of energy and help to raise your metabolism so that your body burns more calories. Overall, however, 7-DFBX does not appear to contain any of these ingredients in amounts that would support its advertising claims of helping one lose 7 to 21 pounds in a week.
7-DFBX is marketed as the hardcore version of its basic diet pill formula 7-DFB. Strangely enough, although the marketing claims 7-DFBX contains twice as much of the active ingredients than 7-DFB, the weight loss results are advertised as completely the same. If doubling the amount of active ingredients does not result in more weight loss then this is another indication that the ingredients in both of these diet pills will not provide the results the website claims.
The 7-DFBX official website gives the guarantee “Lose up to 14 Pounds in 7 Days or Your Money Back Guaranteed”. It is unknown whether or not this guarantee is actually honored by the company.
