Brazil Leaf Weight Control

Brazil Leaf Extract Weight Control is a dietary supplement from Alka Vita. It is Brazilian diet pill that, according to its Amazon sales page when this review was written, works as an appetite suppressant, increases energy levels and speeds up metabolism.

The only active ingredient in this dietary supplement is Brazil Leaf Extract (cordia salicifolia cham) (leaf). There is 400 mg of Brazil leaf extract per 1 capsule serving.

If Brazil leaf extract or cordia salicifolia cham doesn’t sound familiar to you, this may be because you know this herb by its other more common name, Cha de Bugre.

Cha de bugre is a tree that grows in Brazil as well as in the tropical forests of Argentina and Paraguay. The tree produces a red fruit that looks very similar to a coffee bean. In fact, the fruit is often roasted and brewed into a tea as an alternative to coffee.

Cha de bugre is commonly used in Brazil to treat a number of conditions, including cough, cellulite, gout, cancer, fluid retention, fever, blood disease and heart disease, among other ailments. In regard to weight loss, it is believed to be an appetite suppressant.

That being said, although cha de bugre has become a popular dietary supplement for weight loss, both in Brazil and in North America, there is no scientific evidence that it has any effect on appetite at all.

more importantly, there is very little information known about cha de bugre and how it might work for any medical purposes. More scientific study is required to know just how beneficial, safe (or not), this herb is as a treatment for weight loss or any other medical condition it supposedly helps to treat.

Due to insufficient study on cha de bugre, it also isn’t known if Brazil Leaf Weight Control is safe to take.

Moreover, the suggested use is to take one capsule of Brazil Leaf Weight Control per day with water, thirty minutes before a meal. No other instructions have been provided. That being said, even if this diet pill should help to suppress appetite, you would still need to follow a diet that is calorie controlled as well as engage in regular exercise for there to be any chance of measurable weight loss.

As there is very little known about cha de bugre and very little information about Brazil Leaf Weight Control, it would probably be in your best interest to avoid this dietary supplement and seek out a more trustworthy over-the-counter (OTC) weight management aid instead.
