Cytolean, though now starting to target people who are trying to lose weight, was initially designed as a bodybuilding supplement. The website has an old fashioned appearance that seems to angle itself in the same “miracle pill” way that has been out of date for over a decade. However, when you take a closer look at the ingredients of the drug, it is easy to get excited about its potential – until the actual quantities of the ingredients are discovered, then the excitement can fade once more.
The following effective ingredients are included in Cytolean diet pills:
- Green tea extract – Green tea has been clinically proven to be effective within diet pills when a minimum of 300 mg of it are consumed on a daily basis. As the entire Cytolean drug contains only 667mg in its proprietary blend total of ingredients, it is very unlikely that there is enough green tea EGCG to be effective.
- Phenylalanine – Phenylalanine can be an effective appetite suppressant, though there could not be enough contained in this drug to support its marketing claims.
- L-Tyrosine – L-Tyrosine has been noted for its ability to help concentration levels within times of stress – however, its impact on weight loss is questionable and unstudied.
- Caffeine – When consumed in large enough doses, caffeine can help to increase the body’s ability to burn fat and helps to increase energy levels so that a person can become more active, even on a calorie-reduced diet.
The rest of the ingredients contained within Cytolean diet pills do not have any impact at all toward weight loss at any dose. These ingredients appear to be primarily added for their mood-enhancing abilities. For example, Gingko Biloba, according to the Cytolean website, is added to help you with “improving your personality”, which is a confusing statement for a weight loss drug. Either way, these ingredients won’t help you to bring in your waistline.
The proprietary blend of ingredients in Cytolean does not appear to include anything in the quantities necessary to make it easier for someone to lose weight. Though some of the ingredients have been scientifically proven to help in weight loss, they are certainly not present in the amounts required to achieve that result.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 2-3 caps in the morning and 1-2 capsules 6-8 hours later. To avoid sleeplessness, avoid taking Cytolean later than mid to late afternoon. Do not exceed 4 capsules per day and 6 weeks of continuous use.
