Lipozene Review

Lipozene diet pill is a registered trademark of Obesity Research Institute, LLC which offers wonderful results through the main ingredient in the product glucomannan.

Glucomannan is an unabsorbable polysaccharide derived from the konjac root. Several clinical studies validate glucomannan’s ability to lower LDL cholesterol and blood lipid levels — as well as blood sugar levels. There also appears to be some preliminary evidence that 1 gram of glucomannan, taken with 8 oz. of water one hour prior to meals, has a significant influence on weight loss (one study showed almost 6 pounds of fat lost in two months — with no changes in eating habits). (Int J Obes. 1984;8(4):289-93., Diabetes Care. 1999 Jun;22(6):913-9., Minerva Med. 1992 Mar;83(3):135-9)

Lipozene containing Glucomannan is basically a fiber supplement. People hoping to lose weight would be better off to obtain natural fiber from foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables instead. Consumers who do decide to take weight loss products containing Glucomannan, such as Lipozene, should also take a high quality multi-vitamin because Glucomannan may bind with and hinder the absorption of certain nutrients.

Lipozene is a dietary supplement that contains Propol, which is the company’s trademarked name for glucomannan which is simply fiber! Your body absorbs the fiber and makes you feel full. The company offers you a 30 day supply for $29.95 (which they actually billed me $45) and send you a free 30 day supply, however after 30 days, should you decide to keep the product, they bill you an additional $45. The 30 day supply has 60 pills and tells you to take at least 2 a day, however if you need to lose more than 30 pounds, they suggest you take 4 a day. So, if you’re heavy, you will pay $90 a month. Now, with that said, Lipozene is no wonder drug. I found it completely uneffective. The company claims it is the alternative to liposuction. In no way, shape, or form is this true. Go to the local drug store, get a fiber supplement and you get the exact same effect. Save yourself the money.
