Looking for an alternative to Phentermine capsules that provides similar benefits? There is not a pill legally available that can promise exactly that, but PHENBLUE can deliver helpful support for overweight dieters when the prescription medications are deemed by their doctor to be unnecessary. This over-the-counter diet pill is vastly different from Phentermine’s chemical similarity to amphetamines, which can result in dependency to the drug and/or serious withdrawal symptoms. Still, PHENBLUE does contain stimulants, which act on the central nervous system to provide benefits that include mental alertness, focus enhancement and energy. It also contains the added benefit of including a clinically studied and patented fat fighting ingredient within the formula.
Phentermine Information
Losing weight can be a struggle for some people, especially for those who are extremely overweight and who cannot simply lose their extra fat by sticking to a proper diet and exercise regimen. While it is important to eat right and make fitness a regular part of a daily routine, it’s not always enough. In situations where someone needs more than standard fat loss methods to help them manage their weight, Phentermine may prove to be a useful and effective aid.
If you are not familiar with this weight control drug, you may have some questions about Phentermine. The following is some information you may find useful.
What is Phentermine? It is a fast-acting and effective prescription weight loss aid that affects the central nervous system and is an appetite suppressor. It is a diet pill that is prescribed in combination with behavior modification strategies, as well as a stringent diet and exercise regimen. It is only intended for short-term use and is meant to encourage a healthy lifestyle without the need for medication dependence.
What does it do? It is a stimulant that is much like an amphetamine, which is a psycho-stimulant drug that increases a person’s focus and decreases their appetite and tiredness. Phentermine effectively controls the body’s desire for food by releasing chemicals in the brain that assist in curbing the appetite, relieving hunger pangs and leaving the body with a sense of fullness.
Is it for everyone? No. Phentermine is primarily prescribed as a treatment for obesity, especially in those who are at a high risk of diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. It is not meant for individuals who are interested in losing a few extra pounds, but, rather, for those who are excessively overweight to the point that it is a danger to their health. Moreover, those who suffer from heart disease; an overactive thyroid; uncontrolled or extreme high blood pressure; glaucoma; coronary artery disease; have an allergy to stimulants, amphetamines or other diet pills; a history of alcohol or drug abuse; etc. should not take this medication.
Is it safe? Phentermine is FDA approved and is considered to be a safe drug when taken as directed and the user’s progress is carefully monitored by their doctor. However, as is the case with most medications, serious side effects are linked to the drug that may or may not affect those who take it such as addiction, irritability, confusion, chest pain, shortness of breath, foot and/or ankle swelling, impotence or sexual disinterest, and many others. Therefore, it may not be an ideal or safe weight reduction aid for some individuals.
If you think Phentermine may be something from which you can benefit and can help you manage your weight, talk to your health care provider to learn more, to discover your options and to find out what the ideal weight loss treatment is for your body and wellbeing.
What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking phentermine?
Do not take phentermine if you have used an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) within the past 14 days. Serious, life-threatening side effects can occur if you take phentermine before the MAO inhibitor has cleared from your body. Taking phentermine together with any other diet pill, such as fenfluramine (Phen-Fen) or dexfenfluramine (Redux), can cause a rare fatal lung disorder called pulmonary hypertension. Do not take phentermine with any other diet diet pills without your doctor’s advice.
Do not take this diet pill if you are allergic to phentermine or other stimulants, or if you have:
- heart disease or high blood pressure;
- arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries);
- an overactive thyroid;
- glaucoma;
- if you are in an agitated state; or
- if you have a history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Before taking phentermine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs, or if you have:
- problems with your thyroid,
- an anxiety disorder,
- an anxiety disorder,
- epilepsy or another seizure disorder, or
- diabetes.
If you have any of these conditions, you may not be able to use phentermine, or you may need a dosage adjustment or special tests during treatment. It is not known whether phentermine will harm an unborn baby. Do not take phentermine without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. It is also not known whether phentermine passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not take phentermine without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Do not give this diet pill to anyone younger than 16 years old without the advice of a doctor.
How is phentermine taken?
Take this diet pill exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the diet pill in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Taking high doses of phentermine over long periods of time can cause severe skin problems, sleep problems (insomnia), personality changes, and feeling hyperactive or irritable. Take this medicine with a full glass of water. It is best to take phentermine on an empty stomach before breakfast, or at least 10 to 14 hours before bedtime. Do not crush, chew, break, or open an extended-release capsule. Swallow the pill whole. It is specially made to release medicine slowly in the body. Breaking or opening the pill would cause too much of the drug to be released at one time.
Phentermine diet pills should be taken only for a short time, such as a few weeks. Phentermine may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Keep track of how many pills have been used from each new bottle of this medicine. Phentermine is a drug of abuse and you should be aware if any person in the household is using this medicine improperly or without a prescription. You may have withdrawal symptoms when you stop using phentermine after using it over a long period of time. Do not stop using this diet pill suddenly without first talking to your doctor. You may need to use less and less before you stop the diet pill completely. More information on Phentermine Visit http://www.fenfast.com/phentermine_replacement
Do not take phentermine in the evening because it may cause sleep problems (insomnia). Stop taking phentermine if you have increased hunger or if you otherwise think the diet pill is not working properly. Do not take more phentermine for an increased effect. Taking too much of this diet pill can cause serious, life-threatening side effects.
What happens if I miss a phentermine dose?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at your next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra phentermine to make up the missed dose.
What happens if I overdose with phentermine?
Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this diet pill. An overdose of phentermine can be fatal. Symptoms of a phentermine overdose may include confusion, hallucinations, feeling restless or aggressive, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, irregular heartbeat, tremors, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, feeling light-headed, fainting, or seizure (convulsions).
What should I avoid while taking phentermine?
Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase some of the side effects of phentermine. Phentermine can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be awake and alert.
What are the possible side effects of phentermine?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to phentermine: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using phentermine and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
- chest pain, swelling in your ankles or feet, feeling light-headed, fainting, or feeling short of breath, even with mild exertion;
- fast or uneven heartbeat;
- unusual thoughts or behavior, feeling restless or confused; or
- increased blood pressure (severe headache, blurred vision, trouble concentrating, chest pain, numbness, seizure).
Less serious side effects may be more likely to occur, such as:
- feeling nervous or anxious;
- headache, dizziness, tremors;
- trouble sleeping (insomnia);
- dry mouth or an unpleasant taste in your mouth;
- diarrhea or constipation; or
- itching.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
What other drugs will affect phentermine?
Before taking phentermine, tell your doctor if you are using any of the following drugs:
- medicines to treat high blood pressure;
- insulin or diabetes medication you take by mouth;
- guanadrel (Hylorel), guanethidine (Ismelin);
- antidepressants such as citalopram (Celexa), escitalopram (Lexapro), fluoxetine (Prozac, Sarafem), fluvoxamine (Luvox), paroxetine (Paxil), or sertraline (Zoloft); or
- antidepressants such as amitriptyline (Elavil, Etrafon), amoxapine (Ascendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Janimine, Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), protriptyline (Vivactil), or trimipramine (Surmontil).
If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to use phentermine, or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment. There may be other drugs not listed that can affect phentermine. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter diet pills you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new diet pill without telling your doctor.
Where can I get more information about Phentermine?
Your pharmacist has information about phentermine written for health professionals that you may read.
Phentermine,
Phentermine really works! Word of warning however, be sure you don’t lose the weight too quickly, and follow the accompanying diet you are prescribed along with the prescription. If you don’t you WILL gain the weight back. Also, taking a metabolizer with it is an excellent idea. Also, be sure that your weight loss center gives a “maintenance dose” of 1/2 a pill/day for a while after reaching your goal. The withdrawl symptoms can actually lead to binging, lethargy, and depression. When used as directed this is, in my opinion, the most effective way to lose weight!
Hello I was wondering where I could get this stuff from? DO I just go ask my regular doctor or do I got to go to a specialist to get it?

Richard – DietPillReviewing.com does not sell prescription Phentermine. To purchase this drug you will need to get a prescription from your doctor first and then the safest way to purchase the medication would be to go to a walk-in pharmacy. There are many websites that claim to sell Phentermine, but most of them are scam sites.

Mary – If you want to order Phentermine you will need to first get a prescription for it from your doctor. Then, the most reliable place to buy it would be at a walk-in pharmacy.
How long does it take before phentermine 15mg starts working to curve your appetite.
It works right way. You will feel it about 1/2 hr after you take it. You will get a “full” feeling and a boost of energy.
will this show up in a drug test? phentermine 15mg and 37.5 show up as a narcotic in urine testing and blood testing. does phentermine-d show up aswell?
I think Phentermine is the best diet pill but I can’t buy it online anymore, at least not legally. I don’t see what the big deal was, does anyone know where you can get Phentermine? I just have a hard time believing that any other diet pill works as good as Phentermine or Adipex.
I lost 18 pounds on Phentermine diet pills a few years ago. Unfortuntley I have to lose more than that now! Phentermine worked great but did have a couple of side effects, does anyone know a diet pill that is better than Phentermine that you can buy online? Thanks I want to get started soon.
you can buy phentramin online. the side effects are less severe, usually just increased energy and a dry mouth. it’s supposed to mimic the same appetite suppressant quality as phentermine.
I know Phentermine 37.5 totally works, but it also has side effects. Diet and Exercise is best if you can do it! I know it’s tough sometimes though and diet pills can give you a little help.
Yes you can buy phentraminD online and apparently it works basically the same as phentermine only you don’t need the prescription.
Ya Phentermine 37.5 works but has anyone tried Phentermine 30mg? That is what my doctor prescribed for me. Weight loss so far has not been as good as Phentermine 37.5 tablets. Gees…. I wish I had gotten phen 37.5
I got Adipex last year, took forever through my family doctor. Costed alot too, So Phentermine 37.5 is generic Adipex? How cheap can you buy that for? Thx in advance.
does anyone no where you can get dospan/duromine, you never get the real thing anywhere
Great information. I think the scariest part is that it’s an addictive medication, so Phentramin-D may be a great alternative.
I heard that if you don’t take phentermine for 4 days that you can pass a urine test, but the urine test my doctor gave me showed phentermine in my urine test and I had stopped taking phentermine for 5 days? How is this possible? and How long does it take to have a clean urine test?
Ive been on phenterine since nov. Of 2010.. And only lost 21pounds.. In a way thats good cause loosing it to fast will make me regain it back fast.. But im still a lil disappointed on it only being 21 in 4 months.. How are you sopposed to take them to get a better faster result? Do i take it before or after a meal ? Thanks! Other then that, they have helped. N now that the weather is gettin warmer , i started wlking…
Ok i read to take on a empty stomach. Which ive done n tried after i ate!! So just how many calories do i need to eat a day? N how much carbs???
Yes you need to take it on an empty stomach, and to lose a pound a week you must create a calorie deficit of 3,500 calories per week. Do not eat more then one serving of carbs per day (i.e. one slice of bread per day only) and don’t eat carbs at night. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruit and lean meats. Stay away from pasta and potatoes and other starchy foods. Stay away from processed and packaged and junk foods. Do this and you will drop even more weight.
are you exercising at all? You will still lose weight if you don’t do any exercise, because you aren’t as hungry and you are eating less, but it’s when you add the exercise that you really see more dramatic weight loss. Also if you are still eating foods that aren’t the most healthy, that can limit your weight loss as well. Eat a lot of salads, chicken breast, vegetables and that sort of thing.
